The first session of the RECinMED Webinar Series, titled “Energy Communities in the EU: let’s check the situation”, has been successfully held, bringing together experts, project partners, and stakeholders from across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
This session provided a comprehensive overview of the current landscape of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs)in Europe, offering valuable insights into the regulatory frameworks, key challenges, and emerging opportunitiesshaping their development.
Participants engaged in a dynamic exchange of knowledge and perspectives, highlighting the crucial role of energy communities in fostering a just, inclusive and sustainable energy transition.
The webinar represents an important step in the RECinMED project’s mission to strengthen transnational cooperation, support capacity building, and promote the transfer of knowledge and best practices across participating countries.
