Neapolis University Pafos hosted the 2nd face-to-face partner meeting of the RECinMED project on 27–28 November 2024, welcoming representatives from partner organizations across the Mediterranean region. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation for the development of inclusive Renewable Energy Communities (RECs), expanding the project network and launching the RECinMED Pilot Transnational Cooperation Forum.
During the event, the three Working Groups reviewed progress on pilot actions, stakeholder engagement strategies and the design of upcoming training courses. The Steering Committee also addressed key topics including project management, financial coordination, communication planning, quality assurance and monitoring of the project’s carbon footprint, highlighting the RECinMED project’s integrated approach to sustainable energy development and regional cooperation.
